APG offers a self-care boarding facility for privately owned horses. 

Fans, Pads in Stalls, Cement Aisle
(4) turnout pastures, (3) of the turnouts pastures have run-in sheds
Lighted Outdoor Riding Arena
Storage Available for Tack, Hay, and Grain
(1) Quarantine Pen is located approximately (1) mile from facility

Porta-Potty
Parking for Horse Trailers

HORSE BOARDING / SELF HELP:

Available to Active Duty Military Personnel, Retirees, & DoD Civilians
Horse Owners must Clean their Own Stalls and Feed their Own Horses
A minimum of (4) work hours work per month per horse (over and above daily chores)
Purchase your own Grain, Hay, and Bedding 
Stallions not permitted

FEES:
Boarding: $50 per month 

       
VETERINARY REQUIREMENTS:

Quarantine – Your horse will stay in quarantine for 10 days and will be examined by the Post Veterinarian 

Proof of Negative Coggins Test within (1) year of arrival

Specific Immunizations are also required, contact Community Recreation Division directly for the information.
