OUR MISSION is to ... Support and develop community
programs that provide education and enrichment through horse-related and cultural activities.
When military spouse, Valerie Van der Veer,
founded MilitaryStables.com in March 2008, the military horse community embraced her efforts and the site skyrocketed
with millions of hits and hundreds of pages of information, stories, and photos. She had no idea that so many others
would connect and benefit from her information and she was often heard saying, "I am fueled by the nice people who
take the time to send emails and thank me for my efforts!"
In 2012, our non-profit,
Ewa Plains Programs, began sponsoring and operating MilitaryStables.com with Valerie serving as advisor and editor. We will
continue to provide free information to the Military Horse Community with a focus on Stables and Horse Programs located
ON or NEAR Military Installations across the world and we look forward to creating new educational programs that will interest
and benefit our Horse Loving Military Community!
