FORT HUACHUCA - an MWR Facility

Military Personnel & Civilians may RENT Horses -- by the hour for Trail Rides,

LEASE Horses by the month, or BOARD their privately owned horses at this facility.

Located in the rustic foothills of Fort Huachuca, the Stables is being totally rebuilt from the ground up -- part of a five year plan!!

Located in the rustic foothills of Fort Huachuca, the current facility was built in 1975 and is now in the middle of a 5 year plan for total renovation. The new facility will be a series of 10 barns. Each barn will be an 8 stall mare hotel-type barn with 12 X 16 stalls.

Current Pens are 16' X 32' and Partially Covered with Tack Rooms
(8) Turnout Paddocks
(1) Turnout Pasture

Parking for Horse Trailers

The new facility will be a series of 10 barns.

Each barn will be an 8 stall mare hotel-type barn with 12 X 16 stalls.

HORSE BOARDING / SELF HELP:

Available to Active Duty Military Personnel, Retirees, & DoD Civilians

FEES:
Boarding: $32 per month / per horse

Tack Rooms: $12 per month

Boarding and Horse Rental is also OPEN to Civilians. In October MWR has an all day, over night ride, about 40 miles from Fort Huachuca to Tombstone -- for the October Helldorado Days.

VETERINARY REQUIREMENTS:

Quarantine – Your horse will stay in quarantine for 10 days
Proof of Negative Coggins Test within (6) months of arrival
