The Barn is kind of a two-for-one. The large, main door opens into a traditional barn with stalls on both sides of a center
aisle.
The smaller, secondary door opens into a shed row style barn with a covered
aisle. Stalls are on one side of an aisle with the
wall of the main barn on the other side of the aisle. The
photo above (far right) was taken after I had walked to the end of aisle. Supplies, hay, and grain, were neatly stowed away. I like how the feed is in sealed plastic containers. They're all labeled with the horse's name and the meal period --
ie. Monday a.m. This is taking 'Smart Pac' to a
whole new level!!
These photos were
taken from behind the barn where I
found trailer parking, shavings, and a storage shed.
Above: Lighted Outdoor Arena with Jumps, Paddocks, and a Community
Pasture. Below: Two Wash Racks and a Round Pen (sorry,
I can't find the Round Pen Photo!)
There are several other buildings
on the property. I saw restrooms, a clubhouse/office, and
a barn that may or may not still be in use. I remember
being here years ago -- when it was in use. I'll be up
at Langley again in March and will stop in and get clarification
and some additional photos.
And
-- because I really enjoy walking -- when
I stop in, I'll take a stroll on the Nature Walk located
across the street from the stables!
